Shamiana is proud to present A Winemakers Dinner with Northwest Cellars Thursday May 19th , 2011 from 7 to 9 p.m. You will meet Northwest Cellars Owners Bob and Kathleen Delf and dine on a delicious six course meal matched with 6 exceptional wines from Kirkland's Northwest Cellars Winery! Call Shamiana Restaurant to reserve: 425-827-4902 Vegetable Cutlets A vegetable fritter made with broccoli cauliflower, carrots and spices lightly friedv served with mango chili sauce Shamiana Squash Soup Spicy vegetarian soup with squash, green chilies, curry, fennel and fenugreek Seasonal Greens Seasonal mixed greens, red and green onion, cucumbers, peppers tossed in a tangy mango dressing. Lamb Lollipops Tender lamb sirloin marinated in yogurt and spices grilled to perfection Potato Mushroom Beef Curry Tender beef simmered with onions, ginger and spices. Basmati rice seasoned with turmeric ,cinnamon and cumin. Chocolate Decadence Flourless chocolate cake finished with whipped cream. 2009 Viognier This lush Viognier is rich with floral aromas and flavors of crushed rose petal, jasmine, honeysuckles and exotic fruits. 2009 Adagio Succulent, tropical fruits of pineapple and papaya with ripe nectarines and green apple 2009 Chardonnay Lush aromatics of tropical fruit tempt your senses to discover a rich creaminess. The finish is velvety with an abundance of bright fruit flavor 2007 Syrah Dark berry fruits, spicy pepper and smoky cigar box offer voluptuous texture. 2006 Intrigue Dark berry fruits, smoky spice and crushed violets. 2008 Merlot Ripe cherry fruit and subtle cola flavors.
